Silva investment co-financed by the EU

On June 29, 2009 Silva Sp. z o.o. with its seat in Mielec, Poland, has signed a contract with the Polish National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management for the co-financing of its upcoming wood residue recycling investment by the European Union.

Project description:
Silva Sp. z o.o. with its seat in Mielec, Poland is planning to set up an installation for the recycling of wood residue e.g. old pallets, packaging material, furniture elements, saw mill residue etc. The installation will be located on the premises of the Kronospan plant in Mielec (Podkarpackie Voivodeship) and will consist of a residue chipper, chipper yard and a mobile loader for transport purposes.
The project will be co-financed by the European Union from funds of the European Regional Development Fund in connection with the Operational Programme "Infrastructure and Environment".
